Laura Fraser

Laura Fraser is a long-time freelance writer, traveler, writing teacher, and literature junkie. Her last book, the travel memoir An Italian Affair, was a New York Times bestseller and translated into seven languages. She has taught writing at the University of California at Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, the Neiman Foundation at Harvard University, Aspen Summer Words, and numerous other venues. She has written for many national publications, including Gourmet, O the Oprah Magazine, the New York Times, Town & Country Travel, Afar, Vogue, Budget Travel, Travel & Leisure, Health, and she is a contributing editor at More. She speaks fluent Spanish and Italian, and divides her time between San Francisco and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
