Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy effective September 7, 2022, aboard National Geographic Venture, National Geographic Quest, National Geographic Sea Bird, National Geographic Sea Lion, National Geographic Endeavour II, National Geographic Islander II, Delfin, the Jahan, Lord of the Glens, Oberoi Philae, and Sea Cloud:

For departures through December 31, 2023:

119–90 days	Advance payment cost
89–60 days	25% of trip cost***
59-45 days	50% of trip cost***
44-0 days	100% of trip cost***

 

For departures starting January 1, 2024:

120 or more days	No penalty: Advance Payment will be credited toward your next expedition**
119-90 days	50% of trip cost***
89-0 days	100% of trip cost***

 

*$350 USD will be credited in the form of a Lindblad Expeditions Travel Certificate, valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation, and which only may be applied towards final payment on any future booking.

This cancellation policy applies to expeditions, extensions (with the exception of the Denali National Park extension) and all other additional services. The effective date of a cancellation will be the date on which your cancellation notice is received. Note: Airline cancellation policies vary by carrier and type of fare used to issue your ticket.

Any revisions you make within the cancellation penalty period, such as departure date or choice of voyage, are subject to cancellation fees.

Cancellation policy for certain longer voyages and holiday departures may vary due to high demand for these voyages. Also, please review our  Terms and Conditions. We stress the importance of purchasing a travel protection plan to protect yourself from fees in the event you need to cancel your reservation.
