Paul Azevedo
Paul grew up on the beaches of southern California where he learned to surf, scuba dive and sail. In 1990, he moved to the Big Sky country of Montana to pursue a Masters degree in Geology. His research focused on sedimentary processes in the fold and thrust belt of Southwestern Montana during the late Cretaceous period. Paul has lived all his life in the western U.S. and has spent a great deal of time exploring the diversity of the region's mountains and deserts. He has also explored portions of the Canadian Rockies, Alaska and Europe. Paul is currently involved in water resources management for the state of Montana. His work focuses on using consensus-building processes to resolve water resource issues at the local level. When not working his “normal” job or for Lindblad in southeast Alaska, Paul enjoys skiing, fly fishing, climbing and hiking.
