The magnificent colors of sunrise greeted us as we approached the southern point of Isla Carmen. After observing a pod of hundreds of common dolphins, we hiked through Arroyo Rojo of Isla Carmen, giving us a taste of the majestic cacti found on the islands of the Sea of Cortez, such as this giant and very old cardon cactus.
